Margarita Jimenez Perez

Margarita Jimenez, 91, of Perth Amboy, NJ, passed away July 9, 2021 surrounded by immediate family.

She was born in Puerto Rico February 23, 1930. She and her husband, Jose, moved to New Jersey in 1952. Margarita worked as a seamstress, nurse assistant and certified beautician. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family, singing, and dancing.

Margarita is survived by her brothers, Juan and Pablo and sisters, Rosa, Lucy, and Isabell; son, A. Louis Jimenez, DPM (Jeanette) of Monroe, Georgia and Mirian Jimenez, LPN, Perth Amboy. Survivors also include daughter-in-law, Karen Jimenez; grandchildren, Dorian Jimenez, DPM (Jessica); Margo Jimenez, DPM (Emily); Damian Jimenez, DMD; Daniel Crespo; Derek Jimenez (Stephanie); Marissa Marsella (Jay) ; Adam Jimenez (Kristen); greatgrandchildren, Lily and Layla Menke (Margo); Lauren, Katelyn, Roen, Aden, Elin, Elle Jimenez (Dorian); Maya and Maddie Jimenez (Derek); Ethan (Jay/Marissa). Margarita was predeceased by granddaughter, Megan Jimenez (Tony) and sons Jose Jr, and Rafael Antonio.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, July 16th at 10:00 AM at La Fatima Catholic Church, 380 Smith Street, Perth Amboy, NJ. Interment will follow at Alpine Cemetery, Perth Amboy, NJ.
